Ty Beard
Ty Beard is the founder and Senior Partner of Beard & Harris. Originally a solo attorney, Ty decided he wanted to work with the most skilled lawyers he could find. The result was Beard & Harris. Ty practices defamation, tortious interference, business litigation, business transactions and advanced estate planning.
Don Harris
Don Harris is the Managing Partner of the firm, and spends much of his time running the Austin and Tyler offices. Don is a Corporate Business Counselor, and practices real estate, estate planning and probate, sports & entertainment law, special needs law, special needs trusts, and agency and management.
Carey Christie
Carey Christie is licensed to practice law in Texas, Colorado and Missouri. Carey was admitted to practice law in Colorado in October 2002 and was admitted to practice law in Missouri in 2010. She has been authorized to appear before the Veteran’s Administration since 2013.

Craig Daugherty
Of Counsel
Craig Daugherty’s practice focuses on both preventing and resolving disputes. He helps individuals and businesses prevent disputes by drafting and reviewing important documents, and advising them on critical decisions. If disputes do arise, he can help resolve them by negotiating settlements. Craig is both a certified mediator and an arbitrator. If a settlement cannot be achieved, he is a very experienced trial lawyer who has won cases in Federal and State courtrooms throughout Texas.

Kristina M. Ross
Kristina Ross' practice focuses on sports agency & management, estate planning and probate law.
Kristina is a native of Tyler, TX. She attended Dartmouth College, in Hanover, New Hampshire, and was a member of the Dartmouth Women’s Track & Field Team. After college, Kristina worked at the Wall Street law firm Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. She went on to earn her J.D. from St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.

Laci Stovall, J.D.
Laci Stovall, J.D. is Beard & Harris’s newest associate. She completed her Bachelors of Arts degree in history at Texas A&M, received her Masters of Arts degree in communication studies with emphasis on rhetorical theory at the University of North Texas, and earned her Juris Doctorate at the University of Mississippi School of Law. Laci hails from a small town and an oilfield family; upon completing the Texas Bar exam later this year, she plans to specialize in oil and gas law and business litigation.
